I’m happy to finally share a few offerings that have been quietly taking shape for some time.
Il Richiamo della Lupa Retreat— The Call of the She-Wolf — is a women’s retreat rooted in moving meditation, wild nature, and embodied presence, taking place in the Maiella mountains of Abruzzo, Italy.
This retreat is an invitation to slow down and listen—
to the body,
to the land,
to what feels instinctive and true.
Each morning and evening, we will gather for moving meditation and embodied practices inspired by qigong and somatic awareness. These practices are gentle, grounding, and designed to support deep listening and reconnection with the body’s innate wisdom.
During the days, we will explore the landscape together: hiking mountain trails, visiting ancient hermitages and healing waters, wandering medieval villages, and spending a day biking along the Adriatic coast. Lunches will be shared at select local restaurants, while mornings and evenings return us to the quiet rhythms of our home base.
Though we remain rooted in one place for the week, each day offers a new way of meeting the land—and ourselves.
This is not a journey from place to place, but a deepening into place.
The Maiella is a powerful and untamed landscape, long associated with wolves, solitude, and spiritual refuge. It holds a rare invitation to move at the pace of the body and reconnect with what is wild, wise, and essential.
About the title
Il Richiamo della Lupa means “The Call of the She-Wolf.” The she-wolf is a symbol of instinct, intuition, protection, and the wild feminine—an ancient presence still alive in the mountains of Abruzzo. This retreat is an invitation to listen to that call and remember our belonging to the living earth.

Dates: October 19–26, 2026
Location: Decontra di Caramonico, Maiella National Park, Abruzzo, Italy
Cost: €1,850
Includes:
– Single room with private bathroom
– Lodging at Agriturismo Pietrantica
– Breakfast and dinner at the agriturismo
– Lunches at select local restaurants
– Group transportation to and from Rome International Airport
– Daily moving meditation practices and guided land-based excursions
Flights to Rome, bodywork sessions and extracurricular expenses are not included.
Group arrival in Rome with transportation to Decontra will be on Monday morning, October 19, 2026, with return transportation to Rome International Airport on Saturday morning, October 26, 2026.
Space is intentionally limited to 8 women to support depth, intimacy, and shared presence.
